Ms Kartal. The whole year trumps the part year.

a two way tussle for second spot. If people could comment when they vote as to who they voted for and why, it really does help.

im going to hold off more updates now until later.

2025 was the year of the mens doubles players. 5 British players in the final top 10 world rankings, but for me it has to go to Andrew and Julian for not only ending as the worlds top doubles team but winning Wimbledon in the process.

As a side note how about Louis Cayer winning an award for being the man most responsible for the upsurge in British doubles ?

Thanks Danny and I agree with what you say - and yet Louis deserved a lot of credit!

Not sure Andrew does though - Lloyd might want to claim that place!

I voted for Katie for the surge up the ranking from nowhere at the start of the season.

33 votes here and scores are

14 - Julian/Lloyd
9 - Sonay
8 - Katie
2 - Toby
0 - Joe/Neal
0 - Arthur

Decided as the vote is slowing to put some names out there. Recent voting history suggests we may get another 10-12 votes in this one, so it feels like the bottom three maybe too far adrift now; v close between Sonay and Katie, and Julian and Neal are pretty much on target for that final

Sonay had a fantastic year breaking into the top 100 and then pushing on some. She gets my vote.
