Very disappointing looking start to the year from Henry.

Unlike Nottingham last year when he was RU in the then Challenger 75, picking up 44 ranking points to rise to a then CH 401.

The rest of the year though was rather underwhelming with his next best ranking points score being 13, as he edged his ranking up to finish 2025 at WR 357. Now with these 44 points due to come off he is down to live ranked 466 for next Monday.

Nottingham in very early 2025 wasn't an indicator as to how the rest of that year went. Hopefully, in reverse, this result will now not be an indicator of his year to come.

For he turns 20 in March. High time to start delivering in senior tennis on a consistent basis.

I suppose he can look to the likes of Dan Evans etc for inspiration on talented youngsters that had to wait until they were well into their 20s until they reached the top levels of the game

The Swiss has just beaten the Portuguese fifth seed, Pereira, in straight sets...

For sure, Henry has bags of talent and lots of time on his side. Needs to develop physically, and also find a bit more consistency within matches. Today he was 3-1 up in the first set and cruising, but lost a bit of focus, missed a few balls and his head went down.

Thanks Sheddie. That's very poor reaction from Henry.

That's an even better win from Toby than it looks on paper. Overbeck is another good college player who's on the ATP Accelerator program. High quality match - Toby served very well.
