As Jonny Aitch says:

L32: (Q) Jack Pinnington Jones WR 201 def. (5) Brandon Holt (USA) WR 109 (CH 99) 6-4 6-2

Now THAT'S a nice result

I'm liking that one too - quietly confident for PJ this year  smile

I hope so! I am hoping he might break the top 100 this year. Ever the optimist!

Yes but I guess a big question is: will Jack PJ go in and Jake drop out?

Yes, sadly I think that Jake could be back in the challengers and slam qualies before long - can't see him defending his round 3 points at the AO at present.

Jack PJ went down 6-4 7-6 to McCabe - I dont know much about the Aussie but all Aussies down under at this time of year are a tough proposition.

Agree re Jake - maybe a step back to challengers for a while wont be a bad thing, his rise was so rapid he might find it helps to tighten his game and mental side if spends some time around the challenger circuit.

I was being mildly ironic! I agree with others that Jake would benefit from dropping down to challengers and glad hes doing that with Manama.
