Katie was almost there at the end of that set. She just missed a forehand on break point for 6-5, and had a couple of points for 6-6. Elina won a long point where she managed t get to a drop-shot-lob from Katie (lob not quite deep enough) and then got to a second drop-shot.

Sonay went 2-0 down but is now *4-2 up.

One set all.

As Peter says, Sonay was *4-2 up in the first set vs Svitolina. She lost the next 4 games though to lose the set.

Was 5-2* up in the second set, brought back to *5-5, but ultimately won the set 7-2 in a TB.

4-6 7-6(2)

Overall 4/4 for BP conversions as against Svitolina's 4/7.

Had 40-15* and 3 BPs in all in the 7th game but lost her BP touch.

Still a break up, *4-3
