All groups are 3 or 4 players - seedings follow positions in previous round. Don't complain if you don't like the way they have fallen!!

VOTING WILL CLOSE AT 9.30PM THURSDAY 1ST JANUARY

If there is a tie, there will be a tie break, format to be determined

Mimi for me.

Would have been my choice against any of the WC finalists.

This was a tough group... Some impressive milestones for all of them. I went for Jake.

Nothing against the other two but it has to be Mimi here. She should have qualified without needing a wild card.

So far four of the groups are led by men and only one by a woman i.e. Mimi.

As discussed in the nominations thread, it was a year where, certainly in seniors, many more of our men did have year long performances if you look at their spread of titles and ranking rises over the year, so seemed likely that there would be more strong WC candidates.

Mimi did seem one particular woman who had risen a lot and wasn't already un the PoS final. And I do reckon that Savannah, with her college exploits, would have had much more chance if she had pipped Cam in their R1 group ( just lost out on top spot 9-8 ) and landed in his Group A rather than Group C.

Maybe also a reflection on men doing really well in strongest nation while women have been rather static, with a few obvious exceptions, Mimi, Mika and Katie S

The PoS finals currently have 12 women, 10 men and 1 team, although that could move to 14 men and 13 women after these votes complete - pretty even. Id also reckon a woman is favourite to win outright, one of a several.
