It looks like we literally have just two singles and a doubles player left in this week, not many more for sure. And we may well end up with none next week.
I am still working on putting this vote up Sunday 28th December - however, with the proximity of this to the wildcard vote and the possibility of a tie leading to a tie break vote, it may work better to move it forward just one day IF there are no Brits involved at that point of week 52.
So, just a word to the wise that if there are no British players still in action, this vote will most likely start Saturday 27th and run to Monday 29th Dec, with a tie breaker (if needed) going to Dec 30th. The wildcard vote commences 31st December - hence the desire to separate them slightly.
I am sure no one will be inconvenienced by this, but please take a note if you arent around over Xmas itself and make sure to check in on the 27th to see where things are at.
I know some people don't like me shifting dates, it is usually to fit in with my own schedule and I do warn in the pre published schedule that I may change things based on my own needs!!!

in a quieter month like this, tennis achievement wise, I thought it maybe useful to recap on our winners in December, in case anyone feels sparked to nominate off the back of that:
In addition, Harry Wendelken won the British Tour Masters in week 50 at Loughborough, alongside Eliz Maloney who is already nominated and won the womens event. Edie is also, of course, already recognised on the list.

With Emile taking a title today in doubles, just Oli left in action this weekend in ITF events, and the Loughborough British Tour event domestically; and then we will see which players take part in week 52.
The process this month closes next weekend, whether it is Saturday or Sunday is to be determined and will be announced as the week ahead progresses, so keep an eye out! As things stand, Id say the Saturday 27th looks most likely.
If any of these catch your eye over the next week, feel free to add them to our nominees list. Not only is December PoM likely to be a very wide open one, two players at least will qualify from it for player of the season in just a couple of weeks time.
10 men (Oli Bonding, Furqan Lawal, Ron Roopesh, Jude Dixon, Max Castle, Sam Bird, Ben Gusic-Wan, Raffaello Papajcik, Sam Reeve, Alex Solonenko and
10 women (Mia Wainwright, Carla Nokes, Melissa Boyden, Athina Schlepphorst, Mirabelle Njoze, Jizel Matos Sequeira Fernandes, Sofia Maine, Isabella Wong, Katie Randall, Annabel Wong
All in action between now and the end of next week. Who will survive the longest?

With the British Tour event over, Papacjik and Isabella Wong winning, and Oli B out in the last 8 in Tunisia, week 51 is over. Just one week of play left now, week 52 already underway for qualifying
Happy Xmas Eve fellow Brit tennis fans! Mia and Melissa in action today. Not sure a) will they get to play b) will they survive the days play - so keeping a watching brief on whether the December POM vote will start Saturday 27th or Sunday 28th. It will only be 28th if one of them is still playing come Sunday, so into the finals.
Lets see. I will confirm during Xmas period as play progresses.
