Alicia was a break down in every set but kept coming back. Great performance.

 She's currently showing on the live-tennis rankings at 501, on 103 points, behind 2 other players because they have WTA level points. So she needs to be winning in the MD. 

 OK, with her MD R1 win taking her to 109 points, she'll now certainly be back in the top 500 and will take out her CH 499.

 Ana Konjuh a name from the past. Winner of  WTA Nottingham in 2015 as  a teenager. Career beset by injuries.
