A question. Could Katie Swan enter Dubai as an onsite alt based on her current ranking, even if she didn't initially enter. Note this is not about whether she will or whether she should but whether it's something that is allowed.

She could but she'd be placed below everyone on the acceptance list and the chances of enough of the entered alternates not signing in to fill any vacancies in qualifying is virtually nil. Her realistic only opportunity of playing Dubai is as a WC.
