Technical issues accessing Board

What do people feel - I could create an email chain with all the regular posters on here? And then if the site went down, we'd be able to figure out what to do next. Or a Facebook group.

Let me know what you think/prefer?

Hey Sheddie - I like the email chain to discuss what we do but happy to go with the majority!? I wouldnt know where to start with Facebook to be honest!

Hi everyone.
I've fortunately not encountered the issues that others have - maybe I wasn't around at the affected times. But if there might be a problem going forward I would prefer the email option as I don't have Facebook.

If you want to email us all that works well. Not sure if you plan to do that as bcc for GDPR reasons or make it visible. For what it is worth, I am very happy to have my email address visible among this group on an email thread, so no need to worry about me wanting privacy, and it will make it easier for us all to discuss options etc.

But others may have concerns, so it might be worth checking here to see if anyone wants theirs hidden?!

I'd like to be o the email chain as well and like Jon am happy for details to be shared within the group. I have experienced problems recently too, but fortunately they haven't prevented me accessing the board for very long.

Same for me - Ive dropped off posting very much but read other contributions regularly and would like to stay connected if the board fails.

I presume that we have all provided e-mail addresses, so they are readily to hand.

How would an email chain work? My only previous experience was when I was part of a group of about 12-15 or so, discussing an issue. My phone pinged non stop with emails coming through and when I tried to read through of an evening it was an impossible task. In the format I remember it would never work on here so I am guessing there are different ways of running such a thing?
