British Tennis Forum Player of the Month Vote - October 2025

Yeah? I hadnt checked. I think that 1/4 to 1/3rd ratio is often the way? Used to be more like 1/2 when I checked it a year or so back. Ive still never been sure how to reach or interest the other 3/4 that dont engage in it? Wish I knew how!!

Feels like 20 will translate into around the average for the year, which is 38. Lets see.

Voted for Emily for her sheer persistence. So many other worthies - think my alternative is Mika. Harriet did well to win her biggest title but the highest ranked player she beat was 218 and she has done so much better than that in the past so for me it wasnt outstanding.

I think a lot of people a) dont explore beyond mens or womens sections only- suspect many people are like that and that is fine b) if they were interested, dont find it as they dont search.

Cant really fix the former - personal choice! The latter, weve tried and its great we have this part of the forum; I do my spams into tournament threads at the start of the vote and Ill do so probably again in the morning, but dont want too upset folks by spamming more than is acceptable- whatever acceptable is!

NorMal way the vote goes is to end day one (ie this evening) around 24 votes; typically get 1 or 2 overnight and a couple the morning, and maybe 10-12 through Tuesday - ending around high 30s to early 40s.

Well, a very slow evening and the vote doesnt progress much.
