Musetti took the opener and Djoko equalled at a set all.

One set shoot out for Musetti to make Turin.

 Really !? And so does Musetti take his place in the draw? Makes it quite imbalanced if so.

If Musetti hadnt played, hed have been in anyway. And draw would have been cleaner. Feels like poor form from Djoko, particularly if most people expected it.

So Musetti felt forced to play here, as it turns out unnecessarily, and now goes into Turin having played all those matches 

Beaten for the title in a 3 hour final and learns he needn't have been here anyway. Djokovic drops off another Christmas card list
