Week 44 - ITF W75 Glasgow, Great Britain - Hard (Indoor)

Wow. I was impressed by what I saw of Ruby last week vs Lily but I certainly didn't see that coming. Though I knew nothing more about Tessa than her ranking.

She seems to have made big strides forwards ( with the help of plenty quick scampering strides from what I saw ).

Well done, Ruby !!    and emmsie.

Tegan has some great DTL shots and returns in her arsenal. Into a second set TB.

Tegan is a player who has a super top half to her body - lots of whip, good timing, great arm

And she sees the court really well

But the bottom half is like bits of string - there's nothing of any power, she's falling over her own feet half the time, it's just cooked spaghetti

Probably locals ! The ITF haven't heard of Ellys either, and Holly only played a couple of junior grade 5's in 2018 (she's 24 now)

There are only three byes.

Mika was a late withdrawal as there was a lucky loser
Not easy draws...

I'm guessing that the mystery player is Ellys Pollon who studied at Nottm Uni and recently moved to Glasgow.

Ouch! Guess Lily might be the best chance to get into round 2? Good move to prioritise the Wrexham tournament which gave the Brits far more opportunities as a lot of lower ranked players. Sorry!

Please don't quote the draw before I've filled in the rankings - it can be confusing.
