He told me over instagram it was to qet wildcards for tournaments but that clearly didn't happen! Not sure what tournaments he was expecting to get them in...

Looks like the ATP still has him as a Brit, ITF as an Aussie.

That's a bit of an exaggeration.  I doubt whether anyone on here will be unduly bothered about his national affiliation unless he comes up against a true Brit.
