Thanks for the link. Really enjoying watching these 2. Lily is so inventive with her shots and comes to the net a lot, not always on the best approach shots but good to see.

Mimi took the first set 6-2. Lily has just levelled by taking the second 6-4. Into a third set we go. Quality is great. Both are really going for it.

Wow I've been pretty absent from this site and only just realised that this event is on let alone that the been are showing it. Perfect timing for me - Stojsavlevic is the one in most interested in and just arrived at my holiday venue to fine her match about to start! Perfect for me since I don't have a TV licence at home :)

Mika playing like a dream so far - 3-0 with two breaks and barely losing a point. Excellent depth on all her shots as well as the obvious power and the opponent just can't cope - has it been like this all week? (Sorry haven't caught up with the thread yet) And last week too? Or a gradual improvement in confidence?

Wow. Really enjoyed those two matches today. Can't think of anything I'd have enjoyed more whilst stuck indoors with the flu!! Does that mean Mimi and Mika will both get SEs for Glasgow?

Mimi is third on the qualifying list and there is one available slot pluse the two SE places, so I'd assume that both her and Mika will need the SE places unless there is a late withdrawal. Glasgow qualifying draw should be out in around three hours so we'll soon know

A few Mika numbers:

At 20/10/25, WR 577, GB #20, on 81 points.

Then with Birmingham and Wrexham both adding in:

For 27/10/25, live ranked 349, will be GB #11, on 180 points ( will go up to 215 points if she wins the final ).

FWIW against her contemporaries, she is now level on 180 live ranking points with Julieta Pareja as U17 #1 and #2, Julieta just being ahead as overall live ranked 348 based on WTA tournament points won ( Mika goes clear top if she wins the final here ). They are live U18 #9 and #10.

Mimi is up 85 places in the live rankings to 296. If she wins the final she would move up to around 268 depending on how others do.
