The quartet in group B are:

Hannah Klugman (JWR 3 / WTA 541)
Mia Pohankova (JWR 5 / WTA 650)
Jana Kovackova ( JWR 10 WTA 588 )
Ruien Zhang (JWR 19 / WTA 763)

Mia was ranked inside the WTA 400 until last week, when her points from a W75 title dropped off. Hannah has had 3 close battles with Wimbledon champion Mia, winning 2, plus an easy win on grass last year

I would say that gives her a good chance of reaching the semis. Ought to beat Zhang, and would then play Pohankova for top place in the group.

A replay of Hannah's match is available in the link from my previous post. Tomorrow the 2 group winners play first on court 2, so that means Hannah against Mia, who won 4 & 5 against Ruien

Hannah lost 3-6 4-6 to Mia Pohankova

She was playing better than yesterday, that's for sure, but it still looked a bit rusty

So now has to beat the Chinese girl to qualify for certain

(Jana K just beat her, in a third-set TB)

Maybe unlikely to happen but could not 3 players end on 2 wins - ie. If Hannah wins and Jana beat Mia ( or indeed 3 on 1 win with the opposite results ) so could come down to some sort of sets / games TB?

Loads of money and ranking points - no wonder Hannah decided to to participate

Vandromme wins the other group, with Penickova ending up in second, after both won in straight sets today.

Looks like there is a boys match currently just started on centre court, and Hannah will be on next/last on there.

Play has been suspended on both courts - for a while now. They only managed two games in the boys match.
