Congrats to Claire Ricketts, superb effort to qualify. Natasha Khan's results have been impressive, didn't expect her to beat Sarah Coles - looks like a mammoth 2nd set breaker in that one.

Apparently the on-court temperatures reached 100 degrees F on Saturday which must have been gruelling for the players.

I've found an explanation for Danielle Brown's surprise whitewash, her Dutch opponent was a former top 10 player !

All we proved is that British girls and boys can beat each other on grass but no one else.
