Good stuff from Connor too, following up his win over the 3rd seed. Maybe not already that doubles specialist re a comment after he didn't play in the singies last week
So sets up a match between the regular doubles partnership, and doubles winners here last week.

Connor and Jake Fearnley were always the Scottish Duo in juniors
Scottie and I was both more Jake fans, with Connor a little way behind.
But, tbh, if Connor could stay 'a little bit behind' Jake then we'd take that in a heartbeat
Connor's live doubles ranking is 419 plus this week's points, so still has a while before he will get in direct at challenger level.
Thus I suspect he will still play singles and doubles at 25K, before he has to make the decision to play doubles at a higher level.

Yes you are correct Jake seemed to be the better prospect as a singles player . Connor was always Jakes doubles partner he was hard working as a hard working singles player but nothing startling much like Ewen Lumsden.
Haven't seen Connor play for several years his results seemed to have picked up last few weeks in singles.
