QF

Alberto Pulido Moreno (ESP) v (8) Mark Ceban

(Q) Masha Lazarenko (UKR) v Daniella Britton
Hollie Smart v (2) Mariia Makarova (***)

Hollie only made R2 here last year, so she's already got a net increase in points

But last year she made the QF of the J200 the week after in Germany and this year she doesn't seem to be playing anything that week so, net net, it doesn't really help yet

For Dani, the 60 points so far equals her second biggest counter

It will also be a net 30 point increase for Mark

However, Hollie+ and Mark+ are also into the doubles semis (Dani+ lost out in the QF)

Boys Doubles F

Eie/Eie Worren (NOR) v (2) Ceban/Zhalgasbay (GBR/KAZ)

Girls QF

(Q) Masha Lazarenko (UKR) d. Daniella Britton 6-7(6) 6-4 6-0
Hollie Smart v (2) Mariia Makarova (***)

Excellent !

Hollie WR 145 def. Mariia Makarova WR 57 and ex-Petits As champion, in three sets

A super result and well-deserved - from the reports, she's been playing really well these pas few weeks, and it was only a matter of time before it would all start to click properly for Hollie

Really impressive from Mark, dropping only a couple of games in singles and claiming his second J200 doubles title and moving back into the top 100. Unfortunately Hollie lost out, but a good week for her as well.

Yes, he won in Istres earlier in the year.  Very good week - next step is to make an impact in higher level tournaments (just one J300 semi +GS round 3 on grass so far)

 Good stuff, well done him.

With Oli shedding points between now and year end, I wonder if Mark could overtake him and Ben G-W and get junior boy top spot?

Entirely possible for what it is worth (he needs to gain 200-300 net points compared to Oli). If not he will almost certainly be top Brit at the end of the year when 2007 boys drop off.
