Hi Jon, I've been thinking of you over the past few days, as the Favourite Player competition has been running, and hoping you and your dad and the rest of your family are all navigating as well as you can through difficult times. I hope your dad still has Poirot episodes to watch or something equally soothing and diverting. Much love to you and yours for all you do for this board.

Thanks Tanaqui, that is really touching. I guess folks who have been through this know that the past two weeks have been one of task focussed stuff - contacting people, organising the funeral and the details of that. It is next Tuesday, 24th, and we put the finer details to bed this weekend. Dad is fine - we tired of Poirot earlier in the week and it coincided it with him going to my brothers family near Chester for a couple of nights. He got back Friday night and over the weekend the new choice of programme was the brilliant Small Prophets - my favourite ever programme is the Detectorists and tis also from MMackenzie Crook, and is a delight. Weve seen 5 of 6 episodes and I cant recommend it highly enough.
ive been able to work a reasonable amount last week and stepping up this week but not yet got a sense of normality.
Suspect Poirot will return once Small Prophets is over with!
