Despite getting out of the wrong side of his bed this morning, Dan was playing well. He had this match, he was a set and a break up. He had just won a "Dan" point with a precision volley and then lobs his racket towards his chair and concedes.
CD, I get the impression that either your headset or your hearing is way better than mine.

Nobody's at home at the moment and I'd got the volume cranked right up
I assume ATP qualifying starts tomorrow which would rule both of them out (If Dan wins)
Qualifying starts Tuesday. It's been like this for a few years now, allows players to get there from their various DC venues and also ties in with Shanghai which is a week another pointlessly long 12 day event starting on a Wednesday.
Does anyone know anymore re. Dan's injury? I have Googled this, but I'm none the wiser. Is he staying in China / Asia or has he returned home (wherever that may be)?
Totally, totally untennis related, but would anyone like some water iris seeds? I had to spend some time last w/e tidying up our tiny pond - formerly an Anderson shelter. We live next to National Physical Laboratories and so were a target during the war. Send me a personal message with your address and I'll put a stash in an envelope for you.
