L16:  (8) Billy Harris WR 136 vs Arthur Géa (FRA) WR 253 (CH = 247 last month)

Billy won the first, served for the second but played a poor game and got broken

Arthur then held serve, so it's 5-6

And Billy has now called the physio for his wrist

I think theyd got rained off the night before, so only just finished today!

well done Dan on coming back, good to see; although Oli looks like he sort of collapsed judging by the score, so not so sure how it all went.

but well done Dan

Terribly close - wasn't sure Billy was going to come through that tiebreak - but he did biggrin

Excellent well done Billy.

I think theres an ATP 250 in the same location next week? Same city at least? Not sure if Billy or Dan plan to stick around or if they do well this week it will lead to a wild card maybe?

From LTR, it looks like Julian/Lloyd and Jamie plan to be there next week.

edit - maybe Guangzhou and Hangzhou the same place or different?!

Next week there are two ATP 250s in China. This weeks challenger is near Hong Kong. Hangzhou next week is near Shanghai and Chengdu is quite east, almost if you drew a straight line east from Shanghai and a line north from Hanoi(Vietnam) it is near where they would meet.

Bill is down on the qualifying list for Chengdu while Dan is off to Hangzhou.

Thanks Madadman - I think I confused myself that Huangpu/Guangzhou (where this challenger is taking place)l/Hangzhou (where next weeks ATP 250 is taking place) are all actually different English spellings of the same place and assumed maybe Evo wasn't changing location next week...

SF minimum is a fantastic result to back up his first title, especially considering the continent hop!

That is well done by Billy. Plays the winner of Evos match next - all Brit match between them would be good to watch.
