The boys sadly unable to maintain their momentum:

Final:  (5) Marcel Granollers & Horacio Zeballos (ESP/ARG) CR 25 (14+11) defeated (6) Joe Salisbury & Neal Skupski CR 25 (15+10) by 3-6 7-6(4) 7-5  cry

Thats really disappointing to hear - stopped being able to follow at a set all.

Neal and Joe should be proud of where theyve got to this year, I feel, and have done a great job this event.

Lots to play for the rest of this season for them, julian and Lloyd, Henry and Harri and Luke, Marcus as well. Look forward to seeing how the final two months unfolds

Quite a few near misses for the Brits in the last few days, this, wheelchair and juniors. Ah well.

Devastating for the lads. Had 0-40 at 3-3 in the second set, and then of course at 5-4 in third.

What a bizarre doubles year: some great performances, but Henry/Harri and Neal/Joe have won one title between them.

And Granollers/Zeballos have gone from no career Grand Slam titles between them to two. At a combined age of 79.
