Got there in the end! And it was nice to see Katie playing with a bit more enjoyment and relaxed smiles.

Well done them, good to see a win. Unless Liv wins later, theyll be last women standing!

Yes, there were lots of smiles - I enjoyed the bits I saw of that match

In the last 12 months or so, Katie has won doubles matches with Heather, Jodie, Emma and Sonay. She's our new doubles GOAT.

Olivia has been moved court with a half 10 UK start time.

Slow start from Liv and Tereza, going an early break down. Looking a little rusty, but improving as they get into the match. *2-5

This is grim. You can tell they are in the midst of a rough losing streak.

Think that has to be it for this partnership surely? These Slam results are terrible.

Its a shame for Liv as her pairing looked at one point that it might challenge for a WTA Finals place, however much of a stretch. they are still 12th in that but with no slams left, and 900/1000 points to make up, that seems an impossible stretch now, in this form.

Getting a new partner now would be a smart move to bed in ahead of 2026 season - maybe chance to try one or two different partners and see what works in the couple of months left in the season.

I don't think a change is likely to happen soon as they intend to play the Asian swing together

.
From Tereza on Insta

"Our US trip was shambles. But this is tennis, we struggled a lot behind the scenes, but brought it all today for our first match at the US Open. Sometimes your good tennis isn't enough.
So proud of us and our whole team for overcoming tough times together. This team is back with identity and can't wait for our time is Asia "
