In all seriousness, weve got Joe and Neal, Hannah and Mike/Mika , Alfie, Andy and Alfie and Gordon all at the sharp end of the US Open this next few days. Reckon one of them at least must surely get on our list for the month?!
1. Cam Norrie - 4th round Roland Garros, quarter final Wimbledon and now 3rd round New York, again the last British man standing. Match of the tournament just now against Comesana, before taking Novak to 4 sets in round 3. Ive nominated Cam 3 times after each of those slams. Hopefully he gets more votes this time !
2. Hamish Stewart - 2 weeks in a row qualifying for and reaching R2 of ATP Challenger 75s ( Manacor and Cassis ), in the first beating the top seed Otto Virtanen WR 123 in straight sets for a best ever rankings scalp. Takes out his CH 442, being now live ranked 413.
Would be incredible if Hannah and Mike met in an all British girls final- that has to be a first ?
If that happened it could be a 1 and 2 for them in this months Potm !
I reckon Mike will power though.
corrected it now, thats what happens after a glass or two of Malbec surprised I didnt write Hannibal and Mike .. I do believe there has never been a junior slam final featuring 2 British players, so history in the making ?

If Chris T reads this he will have your guts for garters!!

Actually, just updating my records (I do keep an excel tally, modern world, Indy!) I noticed that this is in fact his first nomination this year (tbf my records are only in 2025, and I cant be bothered to check back through past years!). Which given he is top of the titles won list, seems quite surprising. And he actually gets the nomination for not winning a title but pushing himself up and performing in singles (most of his titles are doubles?) and doing well at a higher level. Which is cool.

Would be tremendous. Though for PoM I find it difficult to see the US Open RU getting much in the way of votes if the US Open winner is there
Indeed, crossed my mind as well although given players still have 3 weeks to build on it in some way, I guess the RU could do really well and build a stronger month (if they play anymore at all, that is!).

3. Ruben Harris - won the US Open junior wheelchair doubles title with his Austrian partner, Max Taucher, for our only piece of silverware in the wheelchair tennis in New York. The junior events are only held here and in Paris, so a rare chance to win a big title. Ruben is playing senior events now and looks to be one to watch for the future.

4. Max Basing - for doing the double - winning singles and doubles titles at the M25 in Bali
