Other events, 2025 - week 35

J100 South Africa

Ophelia K Davies is top seed and has won two matches, and is into the QFs

BUT, more impressive, little sis' Hermione, still only 13, has also won two matches here - including beating the 5th seed smile

Lara Savic lost in R1

In the doubles, the sisters aren't playing together - Lara & Ophelia have teamed up, and got a R1 win. Hermione played with a RSA girl but they lost

In the boys, Vincent Fletcher won in R1 but lost a quite close match to the top seed in R2

Also still going in the doubles

J100 France

Jacob Blacker-Rose got a LL spot into the main draw but lost in R1

However, young Pui Yin Lung (age 14) got an excellent win over the girl who won the Orange Bowl U12s a couple of years ago

And Edie Griffiths has also won her R1 match

J100 Latvia

Ron Roopseh lost in R1

EmilijaLebedevaite is yet to play her R1 match

J60 Switzerland

Sam Zlotnik got a BYE and a win and is into R3

Alex Mirrington lost his first match

J60 Singapore

(q) Jessica Lee (age 14) won her R1 match, before losing in R2

that'll be her first ITF points, I think, so well done to her

J60 Slovenia

Rocco Richardson and Andrew Cutocheras both lost in R1

Rocco has a win in doubles though

J30 Kosovo

Casey Unitt came very close to putting out the top seed in R1 but not to be :(

Henry Redfern and (q) Conrad Brown both won their R1s

Dario Puljic still to play

In the girls, Lisa Bolton lost but Zayna Ayub won

J30 Burundi

After his doubles win last week, maybe Harry Cornhill was feeling it a bit as he retired in R1

J30 Germany

GabrielaPacheco-Lagoda and Emma Ketler both got a BYE and lost their first matches

Bethany Pratt won in R1 but lost in R2

J30 Skopje

Archie Gray and Kacper Laskowski both won in R1

Amazing run from young Hermione K Davies

J100 South Africa

Hermione (age 13) beat the 2nd seed, 6-2 6-1, to make the SFs !!!

These are Hermione's first singles points at anything bigger than a J30 - she's going to have a BIG jump in the rankings next week

And big sis, Ophelia, also won her QF

Ophelia & Lara Savic are also into the SFs in dubs

The amazing run continues - and risks creating family drama

13 year-old Hermione beat the 4th seed, in two sets, and makes the final !

Meanwhile, Ophelia lost her SF

So it's a final for Hermione, going for family revenge

It didn't end the way we wanted it in Jo'burg J100

Hermione lost her final, 6-3 6-2

And Ophelia and Lara lost their doubles final, 6-2 6-3

But it's definitely been an excellent week for young Hermione, age only 13

J30 Burundi

Harry Cornhill gets another doubles title

That's two now, back to back, both with French partner Hugo Agnes

Edie Griffiths & Pui Yin Lung made the doubles final, but lost in ultra quick time

Still a good week for both, especially young Pui

J60 Tunisia

Oliver Page won his QF in singles

But lost his SF in doubles, 10-5, in the MTB

In the girls, Sophie Ryland and Francesca Tye had even more a heartbreaker, losing their dubs SF 11-9 in the MTB :(

But Karina Kiss+ won their dubs SF and are into the final
