The Women's Ohio State Regional had the most even round 1 match up on paper in one match and the most uneven in the other.

Arizona lost to Notre Dame 3-4
1. Ciara Moore/Chulak (Arizona) d. #45 Molnar/Pozder (NDU), 6-3

3. Ciara Moore lost to Holod 6-7(5), 7-5, 4-6
The match rested on who would win Ciara's match. Ciara battled hard saving 4 match points over 2 games, but lost the 5th on deciding point.

Ohio State d. Youngstown State 4-0
1. Flora Johnson/Luciana Perry won 6-2
2. Hep Oluwadare/Teah Chavez unfinished 4-4

4. Hep Oluwadare unfinished 6-0 5-1
6. Flora Johnson won 6-1 6-2

This was such a mismatch - 3rd seed against a team outside the top 200 teams - that Ohio State pulled 2 of their 3 top singles players that moved Hep up to 4 and gave Flora a rare singles match.
Flora was first to finish. I feel there's a decent player in Flora but she's in a catch 22 situation where she needs regular singles match play for her to iron out some of what is holding her back from getting regular match play. With all 7 of Ohio State's singles players above her returning next year I don't know how she does that.
