Anna Frey is the 18 year-old girl with zillions of tik-tok followers (well, about 2 million, I think) and who makes a fortune from it - something to doing to being a double for Brock Purdy - I read a while back that she'd made about $500,000 from the revenue streams
That guy residing in Pennsylvania Avenue signed an Executive Order yesterday under the title "URGENT NATIONAL ACTION TO SAVE COLLEGE SPORTS" that, in the most simplest terms reverses many of the changes that have come about over the last few years as a consequence of litigation and federal courts ruling that previous practices breach anti-trust laws. The Executive Order: * Restricts college athletes to 5 years eligibility * Bans professional athletes from returning to college sports * Bans collective NIL schemes - what they term as "fraudulent" NIL activities. * Restricts student athletes to 1 transfer before graduation * Bans women's and Olympic sports from being cut to fund other athletics programs and revenue sharing schemes.
The Executive Order comes into force on 1 August and any University that does not comply is threatened with having federal funds cut.
It is expected that legal action will be brought against it and one sports lawyer has said Universities will be forced to choose between going against a federal court order or an executive order.
Bagels were dished out in wins by Ollie Tarvet (two), Raff Papajcik, Erin Pearce, Ella Mcdonald, Isabella Wong and in doubles by Immi Haddad+. Breadsticks were dished out in wins by Louis Bowden, Raff Papajcik, Theo Coates, Ilias Hirani Worthington (Wichita State), Savannah Dada-Mascoll and Edie Hammond (Oakland)
Will Jansen also had a 6(4)&6(9) win over ATP top 600 Nicolas Arseneault. Oli Bonding won by retirement at 5-3 in the 1st. Immi Haddad won 2&5. Ella Mcdonald was back after a week out and in the bits i saw was playing well within herself in her 0&2 win.
Kristina Paskauskas retired after 1 game again. Brooke Black retired after 1 game in the 2nd having lost the 1st 4-6.

Visa/Immigration Vetting: Orders have mandated that the Department of Homeland Security and Department of Justice increase screening for F-1 and J-1 international students, which directly impacts private universities' enrolment and compliance teams.
Recent reports indicate that international players now account for:
* **61%** of Division I men's tennis players .
* **66%** of Division I women's tennis players .
Wonder what Trump thinks of these figures? Hopefully he has no interest in tennis!
I have mentioned before that my son knew an international tennis player from Mexico who was forced to return home following a speeding offence (40 in a 30) even though his student visa was all in order
It's the final weekend of the regular season for many of our teams before their Conference championships next week. Big Ten teams ( USC, Ohio State) have another week of their regular season.
Not many highlights from the Thursday and friday matches. 1. #21 Oliver Tarvet (USD) def. Max Wuelfing (LMU) 6-0, 6-1 That is the only game Ollie has dropped in his last 4 sets. He's on a run of 5 matches where he has won at least 1 set with a bagel or breadstick and has also done so in 9 of his last 10 matches.
2.#47 Will Jansen (UGA) def. Paul Barbier Gazeu (USC) 6-0, 7-5 4. Derrick Chen (UGA) vs. Max Stenzer (USC) 6-7 (3), 7-6 (5), 7-5, 5-6 unfinished
3. Jaquelyn Ogunwale (UM) def. #31 Tatum Evans (UNC) 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) Jacqui's highest ranked win, coming back from a break down in the 2nd. Miami gave UNC a fright as they surprisingly took 5 1st sets but UNC woke up to win 4-3.
2. Hannah Read (USD) def. Elif Gunal (SMC) 6-1, 6-1 There was no Iman Khan or Tiana Fox for SMC who only fielded 5 players. Iman has only played 1 match all spring and appears to be a long term injury.
As I feared she would, Jasmine Conway (NC State) has lost her singles place now NC State have 7 players available, despite her 17-3 record in dual play and having the best win percentage on the team in dual play.
Charlie Swaine (Sth Carolina), Isa Lacy (Virginia), Brooke Black (Florida), Kristina Paskauskas (Alabama) didn't play. Brooke and Kristina are injured; Kristina was seen wearing a medical boot.
In a repeat of last year, Charlie R got the clinch against NC State that gave Wake Forest the ACC regular season title. They go into the ACC conference championships as No 1 seeds.
3. #28 Luca Pow (WFU) vs. #101 William Manning (NCSU) 7-6(3), 3-3, unfinished 4. Charlie Robertson (WFU) def. Ainius Sabaliauskas (NCSU) 7-6(5), 6-3
