 Max won in straight sets.

 He did indeed - 7-6 (8-6) 6-2 biggrin

I assume Max has finished Uni at Stanford now and is playing full time on tour.

He's definitely graduated (nice graduate photo on Insta)

Whether he's planning on doing a Masters, or playing full time, or what, I'm not sure

But he's a winner today biggrin

(By the way, as per his Stanford interviews, he pronounces his name Bazing, very much a 'z', not as in 'basing yourself on someone', with an 's' - if it matters smile)

Excellent , well done Max. Two titles in a matter of a few weeks; starting to make a real mark!

Good to see.

Tbf he was making that mark last year in Asia about the same time, with an M25 title and M15 RU.

Now live ranked 534 with 72 points from just 8 counters. As CD says he's certainly doing more than battling on in life and in tennis.

I've never thought of it in any other way, cf. Basingstoke...  wink

Good to see someone else coming through and climbing and another college grad at that.

Indeed, but the actual word 'basing' is not pronounced like that

So either would be possible, coz names are funny things smile
