British Tennis Forum Player of the Month Vote - August 2025

Yes, an uninspiring month overall, with the top three completely predictable. The others were really only there to make up the numbers. Let's hope September is more promising.

But third place was a draw, no?

So I guess the top three can't have been THAT predictable ? smile

OK, top 4, but really just the top 2.

Out of interest, did anyone else find this months POM vote a bit meh?

I didn't vote this month, as I didn't think that there was a stand-out achievement: everyone appears (to me) to do more-or-less what they were expected to do. I prefer to vote for someone that has done something that makes me sit up and take notice.

This is not helped by the fact that I don't follow junior or wheelchair events, so they never make an impact on me.

I get that and a lot don't follow juniors or wheelchair (wheelchair only tend to get nominated around the slams tbh).

Hopefully September will inspire you and others more!!
