Thought she was actually playing well other that the first serve which is at 29% Her opponent is at 85%

Yes, I agree. She only landed 7 first serves out of 27 poits, but won 6 of them. Hopefully the delay will give her the chance to clear her head and have a word with her coach.

That'll do Harriet a favour after her 3+hour match yesterday but will they all then have to play again later in the day.  That won't be great for Fran.

Feels bizarre why they didn't move a block of matches to the Grandstand court and another block to Arthur Ashe. Under the roof, they could have easily completed 8 matches on these two roofed courts that aren't being used.

My understanding is they will now play final round qualies Friday.

I think they are used by the MD players for practice during qualifying week.

It's still only the 2nd round

Main draw is set to be made any minute now - then we will know if anyone else has pulled out

Fantastic draws for Raducanu. Decent for the other British women!!

Raducanu gets qualifier in round 1, followed by Kudermetova (24) in round 2 and then Rybakina (9) in round 3.

Kartal gets Haddad Maia (18), followed by Boisson/Golubic and then Svitolina (12)

Boulter gets Kostyuk (27), followed by Sonmez/qualifier and then Keys (6)

Only 4 qualifier spots are against seeds and none higher than 16th, though Maya Joint is also a tough prospect

 What does that matter?

It doesn't matter, someone could have withdrawn this week.

I think that there aren't any LL places yet, as I counted 16 qualifying spots.
