Brooke thoroughy deserved it - as above, so much intensity on each and every point 

(And Julie could barely get the ball in the court sometimes)

Maybe Aldershot is our youngsters' event smile

Pardon my ignorance but does this mean that Brooke is from the Byron/Wayne/Cara Black family?

I know the family story but what I wasn't sure about was, are any of the above Black family involved in her tennis (coaching?) or more widely in GB tennis? Presumably Wayne and Selyutina live in the UK, if Brooke is here?

A good win for Hannah, another win at the WTA 350 sort of level

She was behind at several key moments, but hung tough, and kept the intensity up

But played a very good tiebreak

(mind you, Ku's volley on the last point was one of the worst I've seen this year)
