Week 32 - W35 Roehampton, Great Britain - Hard

A really interesting first set

Hannah tried her 'normal' tennis, it wasn't quite working, and then she got broken to a dead let cord

And she got really mad !

And started whacking the ball in anger (into the court and between the lines, I should add)

And broke back, and broke again, and won the first set 6-4

Hannah was down in the second set too - all the way until the end where she broke back

And then had two MPs on Abe's serve, where she was a bit tentative

But Abe, unexpectedly, played a rather poor tiebreak and Hannah romped home

6-4 7-6(1)

into the final !

Oh, Yippety skippety !!!!!!!!

Alicia wins in two sets too

So I've in seventh heaven - tomorrow's final is just perfect, little faves abounding

Seriously, Alicia/Lissey/Lis did really well

I thought she was dead and gone when she missed three MPs in the second set

But she romped through the TB

Trouble holding serve - but no trouble breaking

Brighton and Hove will be pleased - they can add Alicia to their Sonay list of top/nearly top female players

Hannah as much a betting favourite to win the final as Oli is to win the men's final.

Hannah 4/9 vs Alicia 13/8
