Victoria Allen WR 805 is now up 15 points and about 100 ranking places since the last issued 28/07 rankings.
Getting quite close to her CH 671 from April 2019 when she'd not long passed her 18th birthday. And she has just 2 points due off in the rest of the year ( at the end of October ).
Might give Mimi quite a decent match.

Worth pointing out (LTA - you listening?) that Vic is only in the main draw here because she made the final of a W15
Really? Goodness - who's have thought a W15 could be so useful ......
She then rounds off a much simpler second set, winning 7-5 6-1. Bit surprised by the result and the scale of it, given Mimi's pedigree...but I didn't watch the match.

Victoria then gave Mimi quite a decent match indeed!
Ciara went 4-0 up in the first set, then it all went pear shaped and she lost in straight sets.
Alicia and Brooke are into a decider.
Naiktha has taken the opening set
Abe played like that against Ruby too - sprayed the ball around, looked as though she was there for the taking - and then suddeny clicked to when she needed to
Rather irritating to watch, and probably irritating to play too
But not a huge amount that Ciara could have done
With the second seed having lost, I was hoping the top seed would lose (I like Sarah RR but she's in the UK now, sorry Sarah ) - she didn't play well in her R1 match
