Vicki Allen has taken the first set off Esther in a rather chippy-choppy sort of match

(14 year-old Ida Wobker has won the first set in her SF, in a very different sort of match)

The start of the second set got away from Vicki - same style of tennis as in the first set but just missed a few, and Esther had a few good volleys

She had the physio on for her right arm/elbow/shoulder but doesn't seem in too much bother from it - she carried on and is playing now without any obvious signs of trouble

The youngster has won the other SF so there will be a 14 year-old in the final for whoever wins this one - Esther might have more of a chance - Ida won't have played many/anyone with a game like Esther's

Excellent last set from Vicki

And I'm very pleased for her (and still find Esther's tennis sticks in my craw rather)
