I see Jeline Vandromme, the 17 year old qualifier with a JCH of 4 beat 5th seed Harmony Tan to get through to the final against the 2nd seed Han Shi having already removed the top seed. She seems to be on a roll, similar to our Mimi Xu who won a W35 last year.

17 year-old Jeline took the title

(people may remember that Jeline beat Hannah in three sets in the Aussie Open juniors this year)

This is a big title for her - she's been struggling in juniors recently (went out in R1 in Junior Wimbly, and in Roland Garros, and didn't do that well at Roehampton either), and not been doing too great in adults either (a R2, a QF and a SF at W15 level)

So this is a sudden alignment of the stars

So she came through qualifying and then beat Rajecki WR418, Rodionova #1 WR216, Young Suh Lee #8 WR358, Tan #5 WR297 and Shi #2 WR 270 only dropping two sets in seven matches. That's pretty impressive.
