I always post the rankings for qualifying as they are at the time of the draw, and Mia got her ranking on 21/07 from her Nottingham points so should have been updated.

Ranah v Lily and Naiktha v Emily are unfortunate draws, but should be interesting.

I don't know if you use the ITF site but they don't update their rankings until after all the qualifying matches have been drawn. If there is a tournament in California that can be quite a while after the WTA have updated their rankings.

I don't know if you use the ITF site but they don't update their rankings until after all the qualifying matches have been drawn. If there is a tournament in California that can be quite a while after the WTA have updated their rankings.

 I use the WTA website as much as possible, but for the lower levels I stick with the ITF website, as the rankings are usually correct for qualifying and a lot of the time the ITF rankings are also important (I know some don't think so). I prefer to look at the main draws on Monday evenings where possible and so can use the latest rankings for those. Mia was just a mistake by me.

 And yet they have streamed matches from some of the courts in the past, so why not this week ? Perhaps they will for later rounds.

Alice led 5-2 40-15*, but couldn't take her set points and lost the set 5-7

Elsewhere, everyone has so far lost in straight sets apart from Lily who won easily. Naiktha beat Emily.

Erin has taken her opening set though.

Hep got obliterated by Harmony Tan
