Im sure I read a couple of years ago that Emma and Ruse became quite pally and hung out when on tour a bit, the Romanian connection? Not sure if that is still the case

 Yes still friends. Emma mentioned it in her interview with Sky Soorts . She said Elena is a good friend of mine and it's difficult to play someone you know but I'm happy with how I put that to one side," Raducanu said on Sky Sports.

Katie already a break down...

Zarazua is in dreadful form and has an appalling record against top 100 players over the last 12 months. This would really make it clear how big a hole Katie is in with her tennis just now.

She's so bad it's almost comical.

Zarazua's legs are held together with tape. Katie couldn't find the court if she was allowed to hit inside the tramlines.

31 minutes. Loses set and need toilet break. Call me a cynical old git but really this needs addressing in the women's game.

She seems a bit detached from the whole thing. Needs to find something to get herself going, it feels a bit like she doesn't really care at the moment.
