Weeks 31 & 32 - ATP Masters 1000 (National Bank Open) - Toronto, Canada (hard)

Joe and Neal get it done, 7-6 6-2.

And we have an all British mens doubles final at a Masters. That must be a record?

Well done all 4 players, may the best pair on the day win the final

Weve never had an all British pair win a masters let alone an all British final - big achievement for the mens doubles game in Britain. I think Louis Cayer needs to take a bow - hopefully as a Canadian, he is over there to watch it!

With Shelton and Fritz having good weeks here, Shelton in the final versus Khachanov, Jack drops down to 7th in quite a tight Race. Possibly drop more after Cinci. Im sure Tour Finals is an aim of his and he will hope to be back on court and winning in New York.

Super ( as distinct to good  ) stuff. And the Strongest Nation thread shows that GB is currently the strongest nation for its doubles top 10 average rankings.

That title guarantees Julian and Lloyd a place in the Tour Finals (it was pretty certain anyway), well done to them

So just the 19 successive wins for Julian & Lloyd from 4 wee titles - Queen's, Eastbourne, Wimbledon, and Toronto.

Effective live ranking points now, going into Cinci - Lloyd 8030, Arevalo / Pavic 7415 - a 615 points lead.

Lloyd will go WR 1 if he & Julian reach the Cinci final. He will go WR 1 if Arevalo & Pavic don't win the title. The only way he doesn't go WR 1 as soon as post Cinci is if Arevalo & Pavic win the title and he & Julian don't reach the final

Fabulous opportunity - good luck Lloyd. I need to hop to another thread...
