J30 Jamaica

Daphne Lovdahl had to retire in her QF - she's played a lot of tennis, what with last week's title

But it can't be too bad as she carried on in doubles and we have guaranteed presence in the doubles final as:

SF: Daphnee & Imogen Brown v Charlotte Perks & Ham (KOR)

(Charlotte had also retired in her R1 singles match but obviously can't be too bad as she's still going in dubs)

J100 Cali

Clarice lost a tight R3 match to a qualifier

There is also a TE 12U Cat 2 in Bradfield this week which has reached the QF stage.

Particularly impressive in the girls event, from Sophia Szczukiewicz who is born 2014 (a year young).

And in the boys Fletcher Davies is born 2015 (2 years young).

There is a nice article/interview about Fletcher who comes from Wales. www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/gutsy-nine-year-old-welsh-28993065
