So confident and solid. This is great stuff.

Fran now down to 101 in the live rankings so will need to reach the SF here which will almost certainly be enough for top 100.

And might involve having to do what she failed to do last week and beat Udvardy.

Great stuff Fran, watched a bit of this and she seemed to be be in almost complete command, although a few too many moon balls for my liking

Solid win.

Next one could be tough whoever she faces and she could face an up and coming great junior or last weeks conqueror.

If she wins that QF against Udvardy or Jamrichova ( who are scheduled to play tomorrow ) that will now apparently guarantee top 100.

Fran is currently live ranked 101 on 739 points. If you add in the additional 22 points a QF win would bring thst would have her at live ranked 96 on 761 points with just 4 players that could overtake these points so on Monday WR 100 at worst.

So re top 100 this week it is all about that QF.

The irony of her potentially having to face Udvardy two weeks running for a Top 100 place.
