If she wins that QF against Udvardy or Jamrichova ( who are scheduled to play tomorrow ) that will now apparently guarantee top 100.

Fran is currently live ranked 101 on 739 points. If you add in the additional 22 points a QF win would bring thst would have her at live ranked 96 on 761 points with just 4 players that could overtake these points so on Monday WR 100 at worst.

So re top 100 this week it is all about that QF.

I think on balance I'd prefer her to face Jamrichova, despite the junior pedigree. She's not got a great record so far this year, and has a pretty pedestrian record over the past couple of months...including her most recent losses to the world numbers 793 and 692.
