Just in case the ATP & Sofascore are right & the ITF is wrong (the thread I've just started in the individual players forum refers):
L32: (Q) James Hopper (USA/GBR) UNR defeated (JR) Pedro Henrique Chabalgoity (BRA) UNR by 4-6 7-5 6-2
*****
L16: (Q) James Hopper (USA/GBR) UNR vs (3) Samir Hamza Reguig (ALG) WR 716 (CH = 663 in February)
L16: (Q) James Hopper (USA/GBR) UNR defeated (3) Samir Hamza Reguig (ALG) WR 716 by 4 & 3
Given Lambda's comments in Hopper in the individual players forum, woud anyone care to express a view on whether he should remain on the board's radar as a singles player (except when he plays another Brit)?
The ITF is now showing Hopper as GBR on both its Monastir draw sheet & its live scoreboard, so it's beginning to look as though he may have changed his allegiance & unless anyone has any violent objection, I propose to continue to track his progress:
QF: (Q) James Hopper UNR defeated Yassine Dlimi (MAR) WR 872 by 4 & 4
*****
SF: (Q) James Hopper UNR vs (8) Mwendwa Mbithi (USA) WR 826 (CH = 790 in August 2020)
