For George, it seems to me it's a question of age, of maturity - and of wanting it enough
Not exactly completely cool, calm & collected in the second set, was he? I'm not saying that he was in danger of having a meltdown, but little things seemed to ruffle him a bit.

Yes, absolutely
But, tbh, after watching Moutet v Evans, or a lot of other matches, it's rather the norm - there are some calm, cool and collected players - but an awful lot who aren't - for the whole of their careers
So I'm not too bothered by that as long as it's going in the right direction and as long as it seems positive energy
I like the way that George (rather like Dan) has a bit of a moment but then gets hyped up for an important point
I've never seen the mentioned as an issue more the focus and more importantly will and injury luck... but they both do seem to be improving! The biggest thing id always noticed with George is getting tight towards the finish line and actually lately touch wood he seems to be finishing matches off! Got huge potential though I'd love to see him win this challenger! The belief it would bring hopefully would be massive... already topped his most win in a season though :)
Clearly very talented and on the up still. Following the points that are due off next week he has nothing to defend for the rest of the year so should hopefully be another name on the plane to Australia in January all being well.

Great (but expected) result. I'm interested in his energy in the second set. By the sound of it George was showing passion
