Dan takes it on his 4th match point!  Fab, I'm so happy for him!  It was a decent match, though neither player had great serving stats.   I'm off to bed now...

At least one Brit gets the better of the Italians today!

L32:  Cameron Norrie WR 41 defeated (2) Lorenzo Musetti (ITA) WR 7 by 3-6 6-2 6-3  biggrin

And before anyone says anything, I know that, in the Women's Euros, England vs Italy has gone to extra time...

L32:  (WC) Daniel Evans WR 144 defeated (13) Alex Michelson (USA) WR 34 by 4 & 4

*****

L16:  (14) Brandon Nakashima (USA) WR 32 (CH = 29 in May) vs Cameron Norrie WR 41

Dan will face either Alexandre Muller or the lucky loser, Corentin Moutet, in the last 16.

Two cracking wins to wake up to.

Based on their form during the grass could see this happening.

Hope they can keep going to get more points on the board.

It's Moutet for Dan. I seem to recall some bad blood in a match between them a few years back. Wasn't Moutet dressed in dayglo for the occasion?

Guess he was a bit younger then!

I think Moutet could cause bad blood with anyone he played!

Glad Dan has him next- hell get under his skin!

Engrossed in Emma's match last night and overlooked both Cam and Dan, two of my top favourites! Fantastic results both of them and I expected neither so it's great morning biggrinbiggrin

I missed Dans win! Went to sleep with him 3-1 up! What a win! The thing with Dan that seems to have switched back on is his hunger and belief! I also think Dan will always thrive on the big stage not in the Challangers. Love seeing him playing well!

Great wins. Interesting to read Cams comments in BBC article that he was playing freely now under no pressure. Great to see him coming back to his top form.

Like Jon, I forgot about the football too. I rarely watch men's football but would have watched at least some of the ladies women's if I'd remembered

No, I was watching the England womens match, it was Cam I forgot about!

How could I forget that you are a very keen football guy no

I think England womens team in the Euros trumps my Harrogate Town for excitement and quality!
