Worth pointing out that, this being a W50, there's a 1 WTA point for making QR2 and 2 points for making FQR

Given that all the players are unranked or ranked outside the top-1000, this is a major opportunity for all the players

Millie Bissett is defending 8 points here from last year

But Indy Spink could get her third counter, I believe, and maybe Mia?

Lambda keeps an excellent record of the points of players who aren't ranked yet - but there's a lot here for whom this is their best opportunity

Agreed. Nice to see a lot giving this event a go.

Hopefully we see something similar with the MD.

Forgot to ask, any ideas who are the MDWCs?

 Don't know smile

But, firstly, Kat Barnes, Hep O, Vicki Allen, Holly H, and Dani D are all above the top Q seed in the acceptance list (as are two foreign players)

So, although there are only in theory 4 extra places in the MD for main draw acceptances, assumingno SEs, it would seem like all 7 of those players are in the MD

I would expect to see Mika here

Not Mimi or Hannah, probably, (too short a turnaround from Junior Wimbly), although it's always possible

But Mika makes the most sense - got knocked out very early in juniors, and likes hard, and has had time to get prepared

I wouldn't be surprised to see Daniella Piani and/or Brooke Black, or Flora, or Ruby, or Hollie Smart, or Megan Knight too - i.e. the youngsters who didn't enter because they didn't know how far they were going in junior wimbledon but, as soon as they lost, became top picks for here

So I'm going for pretty much all four wildcards being Wimbly junior players, just not quite sure which ones :)

Just a reminder, if people want to watch something more competitive than yesterday's Wimbledon final, all these matches are available on livestream on the ITF live site

Jaquelyn Ogunwale and Indianna Spink are in a battle.

Jaqyelyn took the first set easily 6-0 but then Indianna roared back taking the second 6-3. They are now into
the deciding set.

Indianna won 6-1 in the third
