Hijikata and Pel v Arevalo and Pavic - A and P had a real tussle today and H & P continue to play well. Big fan of Rinky Dinky and reckon they can cause a semi upset versus the top seeds

The QF match between Julian/Lloyd and Henry/Harri is fairly cantering through the games 7 games played in 18 mins. Presumably all on serve with few rallies so far? Again, am following scores but just checking in now and then

There were 28 points on serve and just 5 on return in these first 7 games.

Julian & Lloyd broke to 15 in game 9 and served out the first set to lead  ...

6-4 1-1*

H and H just had a set point at 4-5 and another one now in this second set

And they get the second set!

I am a bigger fan of H and H so hope they get it but , tbh, J and L winning would be fine - lucky to be in this position.

Nonetheless, lets go H and H!

MTO for Julian after Henry & Harri took the second set by 6-4 to level the match, Julian having taken a tumble at the end of that set.

Oh, ouch - hope he is ok. Don't want that to get in the way of a good third set

Reaching the business end of the final set, 5-5 with no breaks, H&H to serve.

And a double from Harri at 2 all - just when the commentator said how calm he had been. Feeling is Harri could be the weak link in these tight moments

A really high quality match, with Julian & Loyd just having the edge (obviously!).  Henry & Harri had match points in the 12th game!  Well done to both pairs.
