Hadnt looked at the womens doubles pairs before, I had thought Emma and Katie may play after their queens exploits, clearly not

They took the first set 6-1 smile I only saw the last game of the set when they broke to love and Parks netted all her volleys. I get the feeling Osorio and Parks have another pressing engagement elsewhere and are in a hurry to get there.

Parks and Osario are entered with their singles rankings - limited doubles experience.

Tactics gone a bit awry letting Parks into the match. From 3-1 they lose the set 3-6

Horrendous collapse. Completely in control, panicked, now scrambling about letting their opponents totally take charge.

Goodness me. Shocker. Lissey and Eden lose 3-6 6-3 6-1. Not sure Eden will have a better opportunity to break into the top 100.

I missed the first set - which presumably was the best

But the 5 or 6 games I saw in the second and third sets were really not great

Lissey trying to chip lob tall girls and only getting the ball a couple of metres off the ground

Eden putting easyish volley half way up the net

....

No breaks in the second set, but Mimi and Ella lose the tie-break 1-7.

Mimi showing just how good she is.

Yeah, their opponents are avoiding Mimi like the plague! Poor Ella is taking the brunt and doing very well.

Have lost a 3-0* lead in the decider but overall a very impressive performance from these two.
