Harriet and Maia served for the match at *6-5 but there's been so many breaks it wasn't a surprise it didn't happen. They got smashed in the breaker though.

Match point, Sonay just misses a volley. Jodie double faults on break point.

Maia absolutely pegs Harriet on the back of the head with a serve at *0-2 in the third. Looks very sore.

A disaster of a last 20 minutes all round!

There was some great play from Jodie in the match - and a spell of poor serving near the end ! She seemed to have taken charge and was giving Sonay a lot of instructions.

Not sure why they cancelled the next match - I suppose they thought it was getting too late to get in a long three-setter. The other one is understandable, as Shnaider has only just lost her singles on the same court and Felix just started.

Harriet and Maia got both breaks back to level at *4-4 but got broken from *30-0...

They lose 3-6 7-6(0) 6-4, a shame as they are a good pairing. Just couldn't quite make it happen at some crunch moments. Doesn't help neither of them have particularly big serves.

And that is Harriet's Wimbledon over for the year, as she is not playing mixed.
