Pity re Heather but in retrospect I think the AELTC / LTA got the women's MD WCs right.
I was always convinced about our GB #4 to #7. But wasn't sure about the WC awards to all 3 of our youngsters when Boisson ( lost in QR1 ) and Jovic ( qualified but thrashed in MD R1 ) were around.
To me more important though than Boisson and Jovic was that our 3 were all reasonably competitive and seemed to enjoy their experiences so much.
For instance Mimi ( interview on BBC Sounds, Radio 5 Live 19.00 Wimbledon programme, 1.15.00 to 1.19.30 in ) said that it was the moment of her life and she was really pleased with how she competed and going forward it made her really believe this was where she belonged.
She said Emma came up to her in the gym after their match, Mimi gave her a hug and she said that Emma was really supportive, really nice, and gave her some advice as to what she could do better
Thank you - how would one even find that list! The menu doesn't mention entry lists and it is hidden under Visitors A to Z - it wouldnt even dawn on me to look for it there.
I do wish these organisations would make life easier, we aren't all detectives and we dont all have time to search and search!
I am not sure that Wimbledon are knowingly doing this. I mean they must know they are doing (or someone must know), but it's quite rare for a list to be published before the sign-in closes. And Heather's now in, with Julian Cash, which could be a fun pair.

Feel for Heather. I'm not sure she could have done any more. A few more first serves in the second set might have made a difference but any chances she got the Dane snuffed out.
Shame as that first set was incredible tennis, and overall a very high level. And she's had a decent grass season overall, just disappointing it couldn't quite happen for her today. Her doubles draw is awful but hopefully she can have a fun run in the mixed.
