I remember watching Jarry's match with Jack Draper (Miami 24) a hard 3 setter in scorching heat where Jarry outlasted Jack, winning a third set tie break. He's a tough cookie, the Chilean.

And fought through some major health issues the past year or so
Agreed in terms of days of week. But those guys playing tomorrow make second week and those today who lose dont?
For me, making the last 16 is making the second week, even if it isnt the second actual week. Its always been the case
I don't disagree that having a Round of 16 cut-off is cleaner (particularly if trying to compare like for like). I just don't think you can say that Sunday is the start of the second week of Wimbledon.

Here is my negotiated position. Reaching the last 16 is reaching the second week of a slam. The second week starts on a monday. Both are true and yet!? Its an oxymoron, perhaps ! And doesnt really matter
There was something about cam taking a long time on his second serve and then Jarry didnt like his loud vocals etc when he was celebrating shots etc - they all made up at the end
