His hair isn't red, it's quite clearly blond! And they're surprisingly common in northern Spain (Galicia. Catalunya...), sometimes attributed to the Celts who settled there. That said, Landaluce is a Madrileño, though his family could easily have migrated there from the north.

Its borderline then- I saw him in person at Ilkley and Id have gone with a red element to it!
